Job Description

The Brinkman Group's Client, a well-established independent insurance agency, is actively looking to hire a Personal Lines Account Manager for our office in Olathe, Kansas. Candidates must be positive, enthusiastic, and customer-focused. You will be responsible for managing a book of business and providing outstanding customer service.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of personal lines account management.

  • Valid insurance license or ability to obtain within 30 days.

  • Strong knowledge of personal lines insurance (Home, Auto, Umbrella, Watercraft, etc.)

  • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with Microsoft suite of products.

  • Sound, professional communication skills with internal and external clients.

  • Excellent documentation and follow-up skills.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Effectively communicate with Producers regarding new and renewal submissions.

Job Duties:

  • Provide clear answers to customers on any coverage or billing questions.

  • Take advantage of contact with clients to round out and cross-sell new business.

  • Document all activities in the agency management system (AMS360).

  • Maintain knowledge of current underwriting requirements of carriers.

  • Clearly articulate current trends related to pricing, deductibles, and overall market conditions.

  • Maintain team-oriented relationships with co-workers.
