Position Summary:

The Brinkman Group is seeking an experienced Broker to support brokers in developing and managing profitable business. This role involves in-house management of a broker’s book of business, assessing risks, securing optimal coverage, and ensuring smooth market placement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with brokers on commercial account placement and client satisfaction.

• Evaluate submissions, identify exposures, and recommend appropriate coverage.

• Negotiate terms, secure quotes, and manage placements with carriers.

• Drive business growth through lead generation and expanding your book of business.

• Serve as a key liaison between retail brokers and insurance markets.

• Maintain accurate account documentation and participate in ongoing training.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required

• 5+ years in Wholesale Brokerage, Commercial Insurance, or Underwriting (or 3+ years with a Master’s).

• Strong communication, risk analysis, and negotiation skills.
